1. Munnar Tea Gardens, Kerala
One of the most naturally breathtaking places, these tea gardens stretch for as far as the eye can see and they constitute the main attraction of the town of Munnar, which is located in the South-West region of the state.
2. Keibul Lamjao National Park, Manipur
When you are in India, you cannot possibly miss the opportunity to see the only floating national park in the entire world. Aquatic grass which has grown over the years is the reason for which the park appears to be floating. Located in the Bishnupur district, this is one place that you must check out.
3. The Western Ghats
Stretching from the northern frontiers of Maharashtra right up till the Southernmost point of the country – Kanyakumari, the Western Ghats is one of the most nature-wise satisfying places you will visit. With lush green valleys and extensive jungles, and flora and fauna, this stretch has been names a World Heritage Site by the UNESCO.
4. Nubra Valley, Ladakh
Ladakh is probably one of the most picturesque places in the entire country, and this particular valley is a stunning cold dessert, with shimmering lakes, rugged mountain ranges and the clearest blue sky you will see.
