Jane DoeMovie enthusiasts, time to grab that popcorn! 2017 is going to be super interesting. Romance, action, thriller, comedy and what not! There is so much in store and here is our pick of the lot from a list of Hollywood movies 2017.
1. Guardians of the Galaxy 2
Guardians of the Galaxy 2 comes out on in early May. We are definitely looking forward to Chris Pratt and Zoe Saldana’s reprisal of their roles from the first movie. Expect lots of action along with a healthy dose of jokes, especially from Pratt.
2. Lego Batman
When animation and action overlap, the result is. Will the movie live up to its predecessor The Lego Movie? We sure hope so, especially with Will Arnett, Zach Galifianakis, and Michael Cera lending their voices to the Lego men.
3. Spiderman: Homecoming
July will bring with it a brand new Spiderman movie, played by Tom Holland. The movie also features Tony Stark aka Iron Man as his mentor. The combination will make for an exciting movie. The movie focuses on the teenage years of our favorite superhero.
4. Thor: Ragnarok
Want more from Marvel this year? Get geared up for the new Thor movie! This time, Thor is fighting Hulk, his long-time ally. See the outcome on November 3rd.

Coming out in June, the first-ever Wonder Woman movie from the DC Universe is a sight for sore eyes. Our heroine is all set to put an early end to World War I, but will she succeed?
6. Fifty Shades Darker
The second installment of the Fifty Shades Trilogy is finally here and a must watch on our Hollywood movies 2017 list. The movie continues the story of Ana and Christian, played by Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan respectively. Is their tumultuous relationship is heading towards something serious or towards the end? Fans of the books are in for some steamy action for sure.

Next up, we have Emma Watson in a classic fairytale we all love. Bella, played by Emma Watson is trapped in the Beast’s castle. Will they fall in love or will she fall prey to the Beast? This Walt Disney movie releases on March 17.
8. Baywatch
It is time to bring back the sexy lifeguards in the red swimsuits! Adapted from the original TV series, the movie has hilarious moments with Zac Effron and Dwayne Johnson attempting to work together to keep the bay safe.
9. Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales
The list of Hollywood movies 2017 is incomplete without mentioning the fifth Pirates of the Caribbean movie. Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom are back with another exciting adventure on the sea. This time, Captain Sparrow is in search of the weapon that will allow him to control all the seas!
10. Rings
The final recommendation on our Hollywood movies 2017 list is a horror flick that has been around for a while. Remember The Ring? Well, time to delve deeper into that mind-boggling and absolutely terrifying story! There is a movie within the movie that kills people when they watch it, so who’s going to die this time?
All in all, 2017 seems to be a good year for new releases at least. As for the rest of your life that doesn’t include watching movies, we don’t know!
