Beard Rule #47, that is, “If you touch my beard, I will touch your butt”, will only apply if you maintain the same with pride. Trust us, boys, well kept facial hair is sexy. Yes, it will take a little effort, a little more time and a little more care, but you know what the result will be? An instant lady-boner!
To help you with your manhood, we’ve decided to give you a few tips on how to tame your beard! You can thank us later.
Know How (and When) to Trim your facial hair
Pruning your facial hair is utmost important, else your face will look like Amazon. Invest in a good trimmer, and find a right technique to suit your master plan. Those growing it long, and those keeping it short, please don’t ape each other. You need to have your own style!
Love Thy Beard Oil
Nothing tames a beard better like a regular use of facial hair oil. There are a variety of scents you can choose from. But please, don’t let smell like a woodsman. Make your grannies proud and oil away!
Wash your Beard Regularly…we insist on this one!
Keep your facial hair hydrated and conditioned. This will help with flakey skin around the area and prevent dandruff. But keep in mind to keep the shampoo minimum. Too much chemical can result in some serious beard damage.
Train your Beard
Use scissors to keep your facial hair in shape. Also, a regular comb down or facial hair brush will train stubborn hair. As cumbersome as it may sound, it’s worth it!
Stop Touching your Facial Hair Excessively
November will be the month to test your determination. Touching your facial hair excessively when spoil your style and interfere with the entire process. This does not apply to the females touching your beard though!
Don’t Forget the Mustache!
Unless you’ve chosen a chinstrap—and we really hope you didn’t—growing an epic beard also means growing a mustache. To keep it looking neat, trim the area around your philtrum (the area under your nose) with a pair of grooming scissors, and keep it naturally sculpted with a medium-hold wax.
Use a towel to dry your facial hair. You won’t need tissue for this one!
PAT your beard GENTLY with a towel. Don’t use your muscular forearms for this task. Blow dry is not recommended, since it will make the hair frizzy and dry.
Fuel Up!
You can’t build a house without bricks, and the same applies to facial hair. Your facial hair is made from protein and fat, but it’s also heavily reliant on Vitamins B5, B3, and B9. That means lean meats, nuts, egg yolks, milk, and plenty of leafy greens.
