1. London Dairy
UK-based London Dairy is available in a variety of flavors in India. One can buy small or large tubs. Sharing is optional. Don’t forget to try Pralines and Cream, a unique flavor that will blow your socks off.
2. Haagen-Dazs
This American brand ventured into India in 2009. Since then, they have opened outlets in major cities in the country. It is the experience of eating ice cream at a Haagen-Dazs store that makes it so unique. Definitely try the Eiffel Tower sundae or a Belgian Chocolate scoop in a crunchy waffle cone.
3. Baskin-Robbins
This iconic American ice cream brand finds much love in India. The company opened a manufacturing plant in Pune in 1993 and has never looked back since then. If you want to satisfy your sweet tooth, definitely try the Butterscotch Ribbon or the sinful Bavarian Chocolate.
4. Natural Ice Creams

The famous Cornetto Cone, Feast bar, and Magnum bar are all brainchildren of Kwality Walls. While we can’t pick a favorite, we recommend trying the Feast Bar (chocolate covered with chocolate ice cream covered with a thin chocolate layer, yum!).

Vadilal, our very own ice cream brand originated in the city of Ahmedabad in Gujarat. Today, this vast ice cream empire ranks second in terms of ice cream sales. We definitely recommend trying their new range of ice cream cones called Flingo, which has a little extra something in the middle. Our favorite flavor is the Choco Raspberry Crush.
8. Amul
Amul is much more beyond milk, butter, and Amul Masti. The company manufactures a variety of ice creams. An Amul family pack is perfect for family get-togethers. We recommend trying the Fruit N Nut Fantasy family pack.
9. Mother Dairy
The Indian brand serves up ice creams that you will want to keep eating, bowl after bowl. The Shahi Meva Malai is a great flavor to dig into.
10. Cream Bell
Lastly, another major player in the ice creams market segment is Cream Bell. Founded in 2003, the company has acquired quite a reputation in recent times. Try their Shahi Kheer flavour. It is best of both the worlds – a unique combination of Indian favourite dessert in an ice cream form.
