6. Boot cut denim
Right fitting denim is an absolute essential. Bootcut denim is perfect for people on the shorter side and want to look taller. A slight flare at the ankle gives you the much needed longer, leaner appearance.
7. Opt for dresses with strategic cut-outs
The dresses with cutouts in the correct places will show-off your body perfectly and at the same time gives an illusion of a slimmer waist and is great for hiding imperfections.
8. High-waist pants
This one is perfect for short frames. It clings to the waist and accentuates your asset and lengthens the legs creating an illusion of never-ending legs. Thus, you end up looking slim. This works best when pair with a tight-fitting shirt or top.
9. Plunging neckline
A floor-length maxi or a gown with a dramatic and daring neckline which drops till your abdomen is a great option as it shows off your best parts (i.e. neck, collarbones, cleavage) and the length of the dress makes you look slim and adds height to your dress.
10. Go monochrome
Wearing the same colour on the top and bottom part of your body will create a vertical and long interrupted line. This will add height and deduct pounds off your frame. Try to avoid bright monochromes, though.
